AbstractSubject Didactics II addresses the opportunities provided by activating teaching elements and discusses the didactically meaningful use of new digital technologies. Both main topics are deepened in application examples and teaching exercises.
Learning objectiveStudents are familiar with various ways of activating learners in class. They can ask questions in a way that encourages learners to think and participate. Students also understand how to use animation and simulation to help build conceptual understanding.

AbstractThe Mentored Work aims at teaching students to combine theoretical topics from their didactic education with practical aspects and to articulate the results in written form. The choice of the topic and the definition of the content is made in agreement between the students and the lecturer.
Learning objectiveThe topic of the thesis should be chosen in such a way that at least one of the following teaching objectives can be achieved:
- Students are able to reflect on their own or others teaching in terms of accepted criteria of learning effective teaching.
- Students learn to plan and conduct lessons based on a topic from their subject area.
- Students learn to deal with technical or didactic topics in depth from a pedagogical point of view.
ContentThe content of the work will be discussed individually in a preliminary meeting. In addition to the thematic frame, the methodical and didactical focus of the work is defined.
Prerequisites / NoticePrerequisite is the successful completion of Subject Didactics I and Subject Didactics II.
