You have mastered the basic vocabulary, the sentence structures practiced in Japanese I, as well as the Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries. The focus is on broadening your functional competence and your repertoire of expressions through oral pair work, essays and readings. We deal with the following topics: inviting, refusing, arranging to meet someone; leisure; preferences; family; suggestions.
Objective
The participants are able to communicate orally in selected situations, to write meaningfully structured texts on topics related to their everyday lives and to write these up using sino-Japanese mixed script on the computer.
