Abstract | The block-seminar combines lectures introducing negotiation, negotiation engineering and specific aspects of successful negotiation with the respective application through in-class negotiation case studies and games. |
Objective | Students obtain a concentrated insight into key aspects of the field of negotiations, negotiation engineering and specific aspects of successful negotiation. Multiple opportunities to apply that knowledge in different negotiation situations allow for an in-depth learning experience. |
Content | This block seminar combines lectures introducing negotiation, negotiation engineering and specific aspects of successful negotiation with the respective application through in-class negotiation case studies and games. Especially, you will • gain a better understanding of the aspects of rationality, fairness, trust, and AI in negotiations • apply what you have learnt in the lecture "Introduction to Negotiation" in a number of challenging simulations • hear about diplomatic, labour and business negotiations from seasoned professionals • enjoy more of Professor Ambühl's current cases and share his wealth of experience • study a scholarly paper and tell your fellow students about it |
