Abstract | Participants are getting acquainted with methods for the development and assessment of transport scenarios. They may choose appropriate methods for a specific problem. They discuss critically examples of application and existing studies. It shall be conveyed how to establish regional-economic scenarios and assess scenarios based on ecologic, economic and social criteria. |
Learning objective | Participants -have an overview of appropriate methods to establish, analyse and evaluate transport systems - and are be able to select the right method in case of a specific problem. |
Content | - Methodological fundamentals and application examples for the ecological (e.g. LCA), economic and social valuation of transport / mobility scenarios - Establish and assess regional and economic transport scenarios with MATSim - Handling of specific case studies from practice - Assess existing studies critically -Methods: e.g. Life cycle assessment, cost-benefit-analysis, agent based modelling |
