AbstractThis optional course builds on the course "Management of multifunctioal forests". Based on theory and field work it will explain and illustrate the 3 most important management concepts of Swiss multifunctional forest management i.e. "Swiss Femelschlag system", "Unevenaged management system (Plenterwald)" and "Dauerwald management system" in typical broadleave forests.
Learning objectiveIllustrate and consolidate aquired knowledge of multifunctional forest management, especially regarding "Swiss Femelschlag system", "Unevenaged management system (Plenterwald)" and "Dauerwald management system" in typical broadleave forests.
