AbstractIn-depth knowledge of building archaeology and construction history on the basis of selected buildings. On-site investigations in small groups take place in half-day seminars, which are supplemented by introductory lectures.
Learning objectiveThe aim of the seminar is to enable participants to apply the methods of building archaeology. The participants learn how to survey, document and analyse historical building fabric on the basis of concrete buildings in order to understand the construction history of a building. The skills and knowledge acquired are generally valid and can also be applied to other objects.
