|Abstract||This lecture deals with the practical application of the knowledge gained in the fundamental lectures from the Bachelor degree.|
The basics of planing and design of geotechnical structures will be taught for the main topics geotechical engineers are faced to in practice.
|Objective||Transfer of the fundamental knowledge taught in the Bachelor degree to practical application.|
Ability to plan and design geotechnical structures based on the state of the art.

|Prerequisites / Notice||Pre-condition: Successful examinations (pass) in the geotechnical studies (soil mechanics and ground engineering, each 5 credits) in the Bachelor degree of Civil Engineering (ETH), or equivalent for new students.|
