| Kurzbeschreibung | The course enables participants to understand the significance of the engagement of civil society organisations in policy processes in order to overcome exclusion and foster voice. The course acquaints participants with concepts and practice of civil society participation in shaping policies at micro and macro level and provides practical tools for influencing political processes. | ||||
| Lernziel | Recognizing that development is inherently political, this course covers political processes and how they intertwine with the goals and strategies of various agents in international cooperation. It discusses the significance and implications of civil society’s efforts to foster voice and inclusion. The course provides a nuanced understanding of different strategic options and approaches to contribute to policy processes and offers tools that have proven to be effective in practical development cooperation work. It provides an opportunity for participants to apply concepts related to the strengthening of civil society to their projects and case studies. | ||||
