AbstractOverview on various aspects of health and disease (health models, diagnostics and therapy of diseases, prevention, epidemiology); introduction to technical aspects (mechanics, measurement technique, control); fundamentals of scientific working (ethics, literature search, study design, data collection, data analysis and data presentation).
ObjectiveStudents should know the terms, models and classification systems used in health and disease; in addition, they should understand the methods of scientific working.
Content- Health: differences health-disease-accident, diagnostics, therapy, prevention and rehabilitation, ICF, epidemiology.
- Technology: mechanics, measurement technology, automatic control engineering.
- Science: ethics, literature search, study design, tests, data analysis, data presentation
